My father was only at Villa Italia for 8 months before his unexpected passing, I only wish he had more time there. The staff went out of their way to make him feel at home. Lucy at the front desk would greet him every morning with the paper. Melissa and Emily would keep him busy with daily activities. Kim and her wonderful nursing team would check in on him when needed and keep me informed of any concerns that they may have. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Villa Italia for the exceptional care they provided to my grandma for 10 years. During my grandma's time there Management had to make some tough decisions especially during COVID 19. They always did so with the residents utmost safety being the main priority. The staff became a second family to my grandma treating her with love, dignity and compassion. Each of you hold a special place in my grandma's heart. We are so thankful to you all. My brothers and I are so pleased and comforted knowing that our mother now resides at this absolutely WONDERFUL retirement home. We feel it was such a blessing to have found this place for her. Our mother absolutely (and truly) LOVES IT here (and believe me, initially she was not ready to love any retirement home - lol 😂)!
