Very underwhelming. Was expecting great food and outstanding service and neither were provided. They falsely advertise free tv and soda. Tv doesn’t work. I can cook better than a lot of the food I ate on the river cruise. They serve wet and tattered napkins every day. Is this upscale to you?
My wife and I are two-time travelers with Viking River Cruises and were more than pleased and booked a third trip for this fall only to be disappointed before we even depart on the trip. For this trip, we also booked a three-day post-trip extension only to recently learn that Viking does not provide enough slots on the excursions to accommodate all those taking the extension.
