They only provide counsel for Caucasians. I have had people assigned late and not turn up. I also had a lawyer for the party of the Caucasian abuse me in Court and request costs. VLA have no idea on how to mange their lawyers and assign them firstly on gender, second on colour.
Unfortunately, they keep deleting my review, so I have had to just go with the one star without explanation. I do hope that they investigate the formal complaint made about one of their employees. And I really hope that they listen to the phone call recording.
Hmm, Victoria legal aid employing people who make it a point to tell me, a homeless person, that "us immigrants are not the cause of your homelessness"...then asked if I was "getting Centrelink benefits" (jokes on them, homeless people without a fixed address can't get any Centrelink support/payments). Then they tried to pawn me off to homeless services, when I asked specifically about how to get legal advice and was, in fact, referred by a homeless service.
