Huge thank you to the legal aid team they have been very supportive in my dealings with the Shepparton courts, they have conducted themselves in very professional manner and can't thank them enough for helping me out with my legal matter's. After months of waiting got to see lawyer and was given factually incorrect advice. Went back for more accurate advice and was told to follow bad advice. After months was told matter is resolved and bad advice never given. Other issues have happened requiring legal help, Shepparton vla supported and provided lawyer for other side and not mine. Trying to get through for 6 months.. hours on hold, no call back service.. pathetic
Arranged for Rod Higgins to represent a Mentally Disabled person, on the day of the hearing, the court refused the disabled person access to his pre-arranged lawyer, Rod Higgins. When the Disabled person phoned up from within the court house, Legal aid apologised and said they would phone him and make him see the person right away. Rod Higgins never appeared, and the disabled person had to go through court with no legal representation. Absolutely pathetic.
