I had my Health Care Assistant ( HCA ) Practicum at Good Samaritan Society Victoria Heights at New Westminster Canada. And I must testify that the Facility is a home for everyone. The residents are accommodating and nice and the Staff are unique. I refer to them as best teachers with great focus in offering the best outstanding care to residents. They had no boss rather they have a leader that carries everyone along. My Practicum experience at GSS is an amazing memory I can not forget.

Amazing facility and this is what we need in our society. The staffs always help the residents, make sure to communicate with residents' families, and try bring joy in. Love the kitchen, recreation activities, individual room, and kind employees. Thank you very much for providing amazing service and cares :)

Lovely place to work for! Overall everyone was incredibly friendly and kind, and I felt that the residents were well looked after both in terms of care, activities but also maintaining their independence as much as possible. I have never experienced as much generosity from colleagues as I did there, and the manager Jacquilyn Loh was such great support for me the whole time. I was also there from the start to middle of 2020, so during some unprecedented times, and all the staff handled it amazingly well.

I had the pleasure of working with Good Samaritan Society and the manager Jacquilyn loh for some months and it was a fantastic experience. Jacquilyn loh provided excellent leadership and guidance throughout my time there. I had a very positive experience and would highly recommend Good Samaritan Society to anyone looking for a great place to work.
