Attended a full venue event here last week and all I can say is WOW! we had the pleasure of coming into the venue which looked stunning and greeted with some champagne on arrivla followed by light finger food before we were told to sit down and got pampered for a couple of hours. Had the absolute pleasure of being served by Laith at Victor Churchill. His service was truly exceptional - he took the time to explain the different cuts of steak in detail and his genuine passion for what he does really came through. It’s rare to come across someone who makes the whole experience so engaging and enjoyable. Without a doubt, this is the best service I’ve ever received at any restaurant. Thank you, Laith, for your time, knowledge, and hospitality!
Genuinely enjoyed the food. Phenomenal and a heartfelt appreciation to the chefs. Unfortunately, the service was relatively lacklustre and impacted the experience dramatically. Staff were acting overfamiliar and overbearing. Personal jokes that felt highly inappropriate. A remark made over a “slutty dress” was very uncomfortable. Best steak I can remember, shared the 500g Scotch. Paris mash and leaf salad were amazing as well the spanner crab and jamon starters. Lovely put together venue. The four of us sat at the bar, which is probably better suited to couples just from a conversation perspective. Great staff, solid Martini’s and cocktails. as well. 5 stars.
