Best steak in Melbourne.
Great sevice and ambience. Overpriced by a good 20% to 35% + Steaks cooked well, sauces great, leaf salad delicious, however I genuinely do not beleive the quality of their steaks justify the prices. This place has been on my “to go” list for years, and whilst its good, its definitely not a 5 star. Meat and wine co has a better quality / cost ratio without a doubt. Whilst im glad I ate here and enjoyed the experience, once is enough.
Attended a full venue event here last week and all I can say is WOW! we had the pleasure of coming into the venue which looked stunning and greeted with some champagne on arrivla followed by light finger food before we were told to sit down and got pampered for a couple of hours. Our drinks never ran low and the food didn't stop coming. The whole night felt unreal to the point where I'm even considering holding my upcoming milestone birthday here. His service was truly exceptional - he took the time to explain the different cuts of steak in detail and his genuine passion for what he does really came through. It’s rare to come across someone who makes the whole experience so engaging and enjoyable. Without a doubt, this is the best service I’ve ever received at any restaurant.
