Three weeks ago, I booked an appointment with Mr. Chang to address recurring knee pain and plantar fasciitis in my left leg. This has been, by far, the best treatment I have ever received. Before moving to the Bay Area, I regularly received acupuncture for monthly maintenance but stopped for three years. I went to see Victor Chang because I had been having pain in my legs from walking for about 3 months. My usual habit was to walk about 3 miles a day, 3-4 times a week. After about 1 -2 miles in to the walk, I’d limp a little. The pain in my left calf was pretty constant, even after walking. I bought new running shoes, orthotics for the running shoes, orthotics for my regular shoes, special slippers with support for supination. This only seemed to make the pain worse. I have been treated at Dr. Chang's office for several times. Dr. Chang is the best acupuncturist I have ever met. He is very kind and patient. I had period pain for 3-5 years and often have diarrhea. After several treatments, my diarrhea recovered very well and my stomach warm and soft. He reduced my bloating and lift the temperature of my stomach. Dr. Chang was gentle, and the service was great. After the pins are placed, you lay down in a dark room to relax for about 30 mins, before removing the pins (the heated lamps are a nice bonus!). He is open on the weekends, making it easy to fit into a busy schedule. (During the week, he also practices at a location in Sunnyvale)
