This place is putrid. I even heard the cashier tell a person with a dog (not an assistance dog) they were allowed in if it was on a leash after a woman told her she shouldn’t have it in there and then confirm to the same woman that it was acceptable. I am horrified that she is unaware of the laws of food and animals. Just filthy and yuck.
I'm in Sutherland for week this week and have called in to IGA Sutherland a couple of times to grab lunch. This is by far the cleanest, most well stocked and well presented IGA store I've ever been in. The chicken salad bowls sold near the registers were fresh, a good size and great value. The fruit and veg was very fresh and reasonably priced too. The store overall was impeccable and a credit to the management and owners.
Rude customer service at check out. Also fruit and veges overpriced and not fresh.
