I'm in Sutherland for week this week and have called in to IGA Sutherland a couple of times to grab lunch. This is by far the cleanest, most well stocked and well presented IGA store I've ever been in. The chicken salad bowls sold near the registers were fresh, a good size and great value. The fruit and veg was very fresh and reasonably priced too. The store overall was impeccable and a credit to the management and owners.
Rude customer service at check out. Also fruit and veges overpriced and not fresh.
I like this IGA. It has a pretty good selection of goods. Some items are a bit more expensive but understandable for an independent grocer and it's offset by a lot of their specials being more competitive than the local chains. It's also the one of those most well presented stores I've ever been in. It's impressive how well it's faced and consistently too.
