I went through the Vickie Milazzo Institute certification program in 1992, and I have worked as a full-time CLNC since that time. The program was extremely extensive. It provided me with the education and tools I needed to begin working as a CLNC. I not only learned the information that is necessary to function as a competent CLNC, but I was also prepared to be a confident CLNC. I had been a nurse for a long time when I took the VMI certification course. I certainly knew how to review medical records. However, I did NOT know how to review them for an attorney, and how to find what the attorney needed to assist in a law suit. This course taught me how to analyze records in a way that would benefit my attorney clients. It also taught me how to provide the information to them, either in a written format or verbally.
