Whoa! This community is adverting a lot. That right there tells you something. It looks like this place, a continuing care retirement community (aka CCRC), has been around for many years. Why are they advertising so much? Maybe they are focusing on sales instead of service? From someone who spent years in these kinds of places, my warning is BEWARE. Last year my mother went to Vi and it was a good experience. Of course last year she only had a broken hip so it was straightforward home in 6 weeks. I even wrote a glowing letter at how wonderful the people were, the food was great and my only complaint really was that they didn't answer the Bells during meal times. This time was the most horrible experience ever. I was stunned to see how much the care had fallen in one year. The food was horrible, the administration is worse than horrible and my mother, who could walk up a... read more
After only six months I have found my forever home. Good food, good friends, amazing staff and too many activities to mention. And by the way you are always welcome aboard the Vi board for a ride on Lake Osborne with Captain Jerry. Look no further this is the place.

Living at Vi absolutely wonderful. People are the friendliest, staff the most accommodating, living facilities become personalized, with rooms larger and nicer than I ever anticipated. From my own`experience, I believe Vi is superior to any other local independent living facility in every way. I also know moving here is the best decision I every made. I love it!
