What a morning Anyone dealing with MTM state transportation will understand. Called to verify transportation this morning since we discovered last night all rides had been canceled. On the verification call we discovered that they were trying to find a cab with a wheelchair lift available to take James to his appointments including to St Lukes Milwaukee. Never a boring day at the Schaefers. You just have to let GO AND LET GOD handle it. But it keeps us laughing and angry at the same time.

The driver we had she picked us up almost 45 min early and due to my daughter disability this isn't a good situation. I didn't complain as it was our first time using this service. We had another ride and the night b4 same driver texted saying she'd be there at 645 am for a 9 appointment...I'm no! Then she told me.she had another rider and that was the reason. I explained the situation she said she could pick us up 830 but we wouldn't make it to our appointment. Obviously! Very unhappy with this whole situation.

My son is no longer able to receive much-needed therapy b/c MTM cannot get him to and from his daily appointments on time. If you have a child who needs to be on time to appointments, MTM is not an option. MTM-contracted providers do not practice safe handoff protocols with minors. And MTM has no ability to enforce safe-handoff policies with their contractors. When contacting Medicaid to inquire if there are other options, they confirmed that there are no options outside MTM.
