Read this post before you judge! – Ok... I have gone to almost every aquarium in San Diego. I will acknowledge that you can find yourself waiting on assistance here. With that being said, I love this place. I appreciate their knowledge, especially the owner Chris. He is very patient and takes his time to explain things to you. He really knows his stuff. When you do finally get your time with them they treat you as though you are the only customer. Maybe that is why the wait is sometimes long. Be patient, it's well worth it. ... read more

Vets-Pets Vets-Pets is a great store that has a variety of needs that will satisfy your needs. They have tons of fish (salt and freshwater) to choose from along with some corals as well. On the other side of the store, they sell things for reptiles, like crickets or mice. They also sell supplies for fish tanks, to feed your pets, etc.

Poor Customer Service – My family and I went into this pet store twice in the last month. My son wanted a snake. Both times the store had other customers and both times we were completely ignored. So, we went to a pet store in La Mesa where the young man there was very helpful and friendly. We bought two snakes and all the supplies that go with them at the store in La Mesa. Hey, Pet Vets.........a friendly "hello...we'll be with you shortly" was all you had to say!!!!! Big Guy and girl on cell phone behind the counter.....ta... read more
