This review is specifically about loan officer Stephen Coloni. I reached out to Veterans United for a refinance and initially received a verbal quote that sounded reasonable. Once the Loan Estimate arrived from Stephen Coloni, the numbers were drastically different, thousands more in fees than what was discussed. When I emailed asking for clarification and transparent rate options, communication stopped. If you don't fit there EXACT ideas, then forget them. You are a lot better off dealing with a local bank or credit union. Don't waste your time with them.
Veterans United "Mission": "To enhance the lives of veterans and military families by providing excellent VA home loan services". All lies, if you are a Veteran living in Puerto Rico, ( even though all your years in the military were on active duty ) they can't help you with a home loan.
AVOID at all costs. Jamie ignored multiple emails and phone calls for over a month. Veterans United attempted to refinance and triple home loan rates hidden in paperwork. Lack of integrity taking advantage of veterans.
