Dr. Guerrero and her team were beyond phenomenal for my VSG! She took time to explain everything, ordered all the right tests so she was not going in blindly, and discharged home the next day. This review is not for the doctor- I hadn't even made it that far. I spent an entire day back and forth on the phone with my insurance to see if I could qualify for the gastric sleeve, I'm well aware of the qualifications listed on my insurance but it said "not limited to"...so, I wanted to try my hardest to get approved because of my forever struggle with obesity. Dr. Guerrero is amazing!! I flew out to Illinois from Arizona to have this surgery done. I had my sleeve done on 9/16, just 4 days ago. Dr. Guerrero has gone above and beyond expectations as a surgeon and a mentor with this surgery. I went into my surgery feeling 100% comfortable and unafraid knowing that Dr. G would be taking care of me and that she is well experienced in this field.
