Deleted my previous review. Found out that kids did get to speak to representatives from the school board after the meeting. I don't know what was discussed. Still encourage people to avoid Pickering high School.

My daughter came home crying saying a boy hit her in the head with a book and I called the office at vernon middle school and they did nothing about it but give him detention later on. And also I called AGAIN and then they said detention was all and then my daughter came to me and told me not only did he hit her multiple times again he also bullied her and they still didn't do anything and also a teacher mr blevins has cussed and been racist and he had threatened to kill some kids and he Aldi screamed at a black kid that he ... read more

Elementary and high school are excellent. Middle school, not so much. 9 years later, Leesville public schools have had a ton of renovations and are better than ever. Nothing beats a cool fall Friday night in Leesville more than going to see some Wampus Cat football.
