Verner Center for Early Learning is about one thing. Getting kids in at any cost. They have great, hard working teachers but the administration is sneaky and divisive. The white savior complex, is really just a mask for divisiveness and racism. The teachers are watched all day on cameras and they tout diversity and inclusion, but leave POC out of major decisions and make the staff feel othered. They don't look out for the next interests of the children or staff. Or their safety. I would not allow my children to attend here.
We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Verner! Our daughter started attending when she was 10 months old, and we’ve seen her absolutely thrive. The environment is inclusive, nurturing, and developmentally focused—exactly what we were hoping for in a daycare. The teachers are not only caring and knowledgeable, but they also keep us consistently informed about how our daughter is doing. That open communication gives us real peace of mind. Not a safe place for childcare. Wrong kids being picked up by parent. Numerous accidents. Never again!
Everyone I know is kind and loves children.
My child was placed at East after being in their Community Program - the teachers are the epitome of a village in not just education but comprehensive care of children. I loved seeing Administrators, Directors- people with offices spending time teaching and caring for the kids in classrooms, on the playgrounds and in the garden. Everyone is involved.
