I was told I would receive a quote for an issue with my bridge and soundpost along with rehairing my bow. I received a quote for 600$ which had only the violin work quoted on it. This included replacing the soundpost and a “cleaning and polishing fee”. I refused and when I went to pick up my instrument I was informed they had rehaired the bow without even putting it on the invoice. So far I have only dealt with them by phone or email. I was very please and surprised with their vast knowledge and warmth and caring attitude. I never felt pushed to buy some thing at any time. I am looking for a very specific harp from Dusty Strings in Seattle. To locate someone on the the East coast who carry's this extraordinary harp is a pleasant surprise. I look forward to when we can purchase the harp🩷. Great people to work with!
