Horrible rented a car and never got my $200+ deposit after I returned the car, they blamed it on the bank (Heritage). Although heritage said they never deposited money back in my account. This was like 2 years ago, but I want everyone to be aware. If you wanna get scammed don't rent from these clowns
We rented a car on January 18. All smooth and professional, though the tire treads were unfit for snow travel. Returned the vehicle on time, 5 days later, cleaner than we received it (have photos to support my assertion). It’s now March 2nd. Not only have they not released our security deposit, they have double charged for the security deposit and the rental. Credit Card company on notice, with the next step the Vermont Attorney General’s Office. Proceed with extreme caution.
On September 30th I delivered a rental vehicle to them on time and without damage in Saranak Lake Airport. It's been 3 weeks and they still haven't returned my $250 deposit or another $250 charge that they made without explanation. Aug 8th 2024 You guys charged me 300 while last time I rent here was 2022, Return My Money Now!! This is a complete SCAM!!! Not to mention my rental experience last time was extremely bad cause deposit is very hard to retrieve!! RUN people, RUN!
Beware. Read the reviews regarding security deposits, overcharging, and difficulty getting funds returned. I rent from this company once per year. Every year it is the same problem. They charge a $250 security deposit on booking, then charge the full rental price, then charge other random fees. It will take weeks of phone calls and texts, and you will eventually get most of the overcharges back, but not without considerable effort and frustration on your part. They do this every time.
