My money vro :(
Conveniently waited to adjust my income tax so that I owed a little RIGHT before I sold a home. Sent notice via snail mail that DID NOT in any way indicate I was "in bad standing" tax wise then moved as slowly as possible to rectify the issue so that my TAX EXEMPT proceeds could be withheld by the state... An absolute racket being run by the state. The state attempting to hold peoples money to gain interest on until they return it despite having no legal claim to it in the first place is a disgrace. What an utter nightmare dealing with these folks. Total ineptitude, and little regard for the public they serve.
Quite possibly one of the most beautiful states in the US. But what a bunch of incompetent people running this organization. They lost my tax withholding on a real estate sale that was sent by our legal counsel more than a year ago. Now, typical of government agencies, guilty until proven innocent. We will be spending our hard earned discretionary monies on our next vacation in a different country.
