This company is family owned and they have many other facilities in MN. This particular facility is under new management with a wonderful director, caring nurse and staff that make sure residents are well taken care of and well maintained. The residents are happy and have fun doing the daily activities. I read some recent negative comments about this place and to me it looks like they're just upset employees who got fired that couldn't take responsibility for thier own actions.
BEWARE!!!! MINUS---1000 + stars Homeless are treated better then in VSL. Under staffed and what is there is uneducated to be working there. Horrible food and residents get whatever the staff doesn't take for themselves. More worried about staff eating then the residents. Dirty rooms and bathrooms. Laundry gets done whenever they feel like it, and then you are lucky if your loved one gets the correct items back or get them at all. Staff were lovely, view was amazing and peaceful.
Our mother Darline is in Vermilion Senior Living and she loves it. The staff is super kind and frequently goes above and beyond. We feel very good knowing that our mom is well cared for. Highly recommend.
