I'm just about DONE with FIOS. Having Family and friends in the path of Hurricane Irma I want to keep an eye on the situation. I just realized we no longer have the Weather Channel! Well at least I don't. Searching Weather in the guide I did find a 24hr Weather, NOT included in my Ultimate pkg. another Accuweather... I'd rather watch Paint dry... Is this a JOKE!!!! Call FIOS, the hold time is 1hr., I know there is a hurricane...in FL but, I am in NY. Is the phone line for all? really???
I was paying $185.41 for the second package so I decided to downsize to basic because that price is crazy! Okay, I figured if I downsize, it should be cheaper! Nope, not according to Verizon FIOS! A rep told me that " Even if you drop down to basic, you would still have to pay the same price" $185.41 for basic?! Bye Verizon FIOS!!!!!

I've heard numerous complaints but iam the type of person to make my own judgement. I went ahead and switched to verizon fios after being mislead to a 30 day trial no obligation and free instalation.
