I think these people are scammers. Imagine paying off a 20k loan and then suddenly they announce, "oh, now you owe us money because you paid off the loan." If they have fees for closing a paid loan, they should divulge that back when they are begging to give me the loan. I didn't need them, and now I think they suck.
