Verifacts has repeatedly tried to obtain employee information for an employee at my company, but they do not have signed authorization, and the employee is not aware of them. They keep trying to obtain employee information by reaching out to other parts of our company despite being asked not to. Tried calling them back and not able to get anyone. Looks to be a pattern.
Called and faxed looking for information on an employee today... We use an online storage platform for these requests and they refused to use them, likely because it requires a signed authorization for the release of information, something none of their requests have had attached. Employers: Protect yourselves from exposure to litigation. Don't respond to these requests without the signed authorization for release of your employees' personal information.
Shady company that will try and push you to share sensitive employee information with no reasoning, block their number
