Veridian Great place, with friendly tellers. I am amazed at the hours they are open (particularly in the grocery stores) Who ever heard of a bank open on Sunday? I haven't taken out any loans, so can't comment on that process, but for routine checking and savings, I've never banked anywhere as easy, convenient, and inexpensive!
great local credit union I really love this bank. I have never said that about a bank before. The tellers are always friendly and fast. They always give me my balance at the end of the transaction.There are no fees to bank with them and they have great interest rates. Great Rates and low fees I signed up for accounts with this credit union because of the free checking, free check card, and good interest rates. I also love the free feature that if my checking account has an overdraft the money is automatically transferred from the savings account. The name recently changed to Veridian Credit Union and they are expanding to more locations in Cedar Rapids.
John Deere (Veridian) Credit Union I have been a member of this bank for over 20 years! This is the bank that I went with for my first Kirby savings account, my first car loan, and our first home loan.
Great Credit Union If you are new to the area or if JDCCU is new to your community, check them out. They offer a great service with low fees if any and their customer service is an A+. They are expanding to Cedar Rapids and Des Moines and their name is changing, so keep your eyes out for it!

great place to bank! This is got to be the greatest place to bank at, they are courteous and fast to approve or deny a loan, they do not leave you hanging. They have lots of locations to bank at thru out town as well as john deere owned atm's ( so no service fees). they offers lots of great benefits and also offer interest on the checking account as well.
