Even my landlord's lawyer complained to my landlord about Verbeck's non-performance. It was Verbeck who would not respond to emails or pursue the matter properly, not my landlord's lawyer as Verbeck falsely claimed in order to excuse his own months' long delays and failure to represent my interests. How do I know? My landlord with whom I had the dispute told me so and I believe him. He could afford to be candid given that he got what he wanted and I didn't. He merely confirmed my suspicions. Awful incompetent job. Took my money but wouldn't do any work.
Alex helped us through a nasty dispute with our landlord over unresolved mold and water leaks. He was responsive, knowledgeable and professional. He guided us through all the government processes that helped us build our case - requesting an inspection from a city inspector, contacting the rent adjustment program, etc.
As many others have said Mr. Verbeck is extremely knowledgeable, straightforward, and patient. Any time I have gone to him for legal documents or advice, he’s been very clear and reassuring in his communication which makes the whole situation feel less daunting and more doable. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
