I have been with Verabank since I moved to Texas (7 years) and they have been absolutely wonderful. I am on a low income, SS, and have had a difficult time. They have worked with me and never a bad word. Today I talked with Jalisne at the branch on john reddit and she suggested i leave a review, which I'm doing now. Thankfully I have been blessed with a situation that will help and I will be more ssecure. Thank God for the people at VB and the compassion they have for their patrons.
Selina and Jalisne were very polite and very helpful. I value their expertise and was able to make wise changes due to their suggestions.
Excellent bank super friendly staff and tellers. Right down the road and always a spot open for quick deposits or any banking needs
They refused to notarize a document for me unless I opened an account with them. In all my 47 years I've never been refused a notary. We recently moved to Lufkin and are in the process of moving our accounts here because there are no Chase or Barclay locations here. After being refused the notary I am assured we will NOT be moving any accounts to Vera. That is a sad and pathetic rule that disrespects your community. The opposite of customer service.
