I had such a great experience working with Juan Barajas. From the moment I walked into his office, he was kind, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer my questions, explain everything clearly, and made what could have been a stressful experience so much easier. I just joined and I am already not happy. Their policies, procedures and technology make it difficult to transfer money to outside accounts. If you have to pay bills that are drawn out of an account that is not Ventura County Credit Union, this is not the credit union for you. I am already regretting opening an account with them.

I have been banking with VCCU for over a decade and will never go back to a big name bank. They've always treated me greatly both on customer service as well as when it came to any loans or cards needed. Anytime I've made a mistake and incurred a fee it was never any issue to reverse it so long as it wasn't an excessive amount in a short time span and it's really one of the few financial institutions that still treats you like a human.

If you schedule a phone appointment and expect them to call you good luck. I don’t even know why they schedule phone appointments, 3 different appointments, zero calls not even to say sorry we are too busy do you want to reschedule? Don’t go there if you expect them to follow up. To VCCU (responding your feedback since I cannot respond to it) you mentioned I should receive a confirmation email?
