A Good Place To Buy Bikes There are a lot of places to buy bikes in Berkeley, and there are a couple spots where you'll be talked down to or talked over---Velo-Sport isn't one of them. I've bought bikes from several spots and so far, Velo was my favorite. The people working there are attentive without crowding you. There's enough space in the shop for you to walk around the various bikes, get on, check it out, and take it for a spin around suburban Berkeley. Bikes!!!!!!! This place has the perfect bike that you are looking for. If you are into mountain bikes, or race bikes, or BMXs they have a great selection. The best part is, if they don't have it they will get it for you. If you are looking for a new bike, you should go here.
Moved to new location on University at California Velo Sport is now over on University at California, next to the Wind-Surfing store. I havent bought a bike there, but I've purchased some parts and clothing. Velo Sport is a very reputable, and venerable bike shop, worthy of your business. Also they dont have a two week wait for repairs (unlike Missing Link).
