I brought my bike into Velo Bike shop in NKC after a gravel fall. They analyzed many issues that needed adjustment, repair and/or replacement. Most importantly, they suggested a rubber studded tires for pavement and GRAVEL! My new tires have studs around the circumference AND around the side walls. Took it out for a little 19mi. spin.
