Have been with Vectra Bank in Cortez since they arrived here over some 25 years and I would never go anywhere else. The staff is the most helpful and friendly always addressing me by name. I had an issue with a check to Empire Electric and when I noticed the mistake I went into the bank and while I was sitting there staff called Empire and was able to address the issue as Empires mistake and get it rectified at that moment. I opened a account with them because they had a location in Durango and since I work in Durango I thought it would be helpful. I had my first pay check deposited with them and tried to use my debit card later in the day after a large deposit was made. Needless to say the transaction was declined due to lack of funds. It turns out that they hold the first check for 10 days to make sure it is good. The payroll check was on a bank in Durango and the company was LaPlata county. I pulled my $$ out and never went back.

They have a mighty narrow drive thru ATM. If you're in a pickup truck with big mirrors, protect the passenger side, pull in the driver's side or you'll lose that mirror.

Banks should have 0 say in how or where you spend your money. Or where your paycheck comes from! Are they going to institute a social credit system next? I WILL BE CLOSING MY ACCOUNT!!
