Dementia With Dignity Death With Dignity Is A Basic Human Right To Life A Basic Human Right At End Of Life This ongoing practise of abuse & suffering is rampant in our aged care sector of residential care facilities such as nursing homes. People diagnosed & suffering of Dementia are subjected to this ona daily & regular basis. It has become a cultured attitude & treatment of those with Dementia in these places that are supposed to care & promote longevity , but in fact do the opposite.. My father was there for a short time in respite in the dementia ward. We had to move him as the price of the room was out of our reach and they were aware that we had a certain limit to pricing from the very beginning. My father’s care was adequate although he was a bit of a wanderer. There was a few times where we went to see him and we couldn’t find him and nobody knew where he was. My advice would be to shop around a little bit as Vasey are the most expensive.
