My Dad was a resident in Vasey RSL Care Brighton East (kamesburgh unit) for 2 years. He was shown respect, kindness and received excellent care by all the staff. I would highly recommend the aged care facility.
Highly recommend Vasey RSL Brighton East. My dad was very well cared for by thoughtful, kind, dedicated and caring staff who worked tirelessly to ensure his comfort and happiness. Lots of options for activities for those that choose to participate such as bus trips, bingo, choir and many others. Very nice food provided too and amenities always clean and well maintained. Overall my dad had the best care possible in the final 2 years of his life and we are so grateful.
My Mum has been a resident of Vasey for about 6 years and the commitment from most staff has been wonderful. However my complaint/query here today is that there seems to be a total lack of activities such as craft days, game days, acknowledgement of special 'dress up' days i.e Grand Final, Melbourne Cup, St. Patrick's Day, International Women's Day, Valentines Day, Pancake Day, Chinese New Year and so on.
