We had Variety Plumbing & Heating come out on a Friday in September to have a look at our 5 year old central A/C unit as it was making some loud noises and not blowing very cold. The service man checked the compressor unit outside for a bit then came in and peeled the tin tape off of the access to the coil in the furnace to check that. He told me he figured the coil was leaking Freon and that he would top up the Freon and come back the following Wednesday at 9am to replace the coil. Terrible terrible and deceiving, arrived at my place at 8:17 and left exactly an hour after, running to the vehicle to grab instrument to work and want to charge me for time wasted. Charged me 2 hours time, I complained and was reduced to 1.5hours when they actually spent 1 hour on my job. If I didn’t complain I would have paid for 2 hours and ripped off. They are not truthful in their quote, I was told to check my AC will be $115 plus tax, didn’t mention $115/hour. Terrible customer service overall, avoid this scam.

Incredibly kind and helpful! I have been shopping around trying to source a replacement inducer motor for my furnace and they were willing to discuss the assembly I was inquiring about, and steer me in the right direction with a product that is actually compatible with my furnace (I'm very new to HVAC as a DIY homeowner). Definitely appreciate the advice and expertise that was shared with me. Huge thanks!
