I turned in my taxes to Vargo Tax Service before the deadline, and they filed an extension the very day I dropped them off. I initially felt confident after speaking with the preparer, but 5–6 weeks passed with no update. In May, I left a voicemail as directed. I’ve been going to Vargo Tax for 20 years or more and this year I dropped my taxes off around St. Patrick’s Day and yet I haven’t received a call to let me know that my taxes were completed. I called the IRS and they told me all they did was file an extension, but they have all my documents so there’s a lot of loops and jumps. I have been going to Vargo tax services for years. I had always trusted VARGO'S professionalism. HOWEVER, I have tried calling for weeks and NO answer from the new owner! Sign on the door gives 2 numbers one for calling and one for texting; I did both... NO RESPONSE!! CANNOT EVEN LEAVE A MESSAGE! 🤬 I WILL NOT BE BACK!!!
