In 1955, we started in a one-room barrack at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base with the mission to help Tucson’s airmen and their families. Back then, known as DMAFB Federal Credit Union we served a little under 600 Members and had less than $60,000 in assets. By the end of the '60s, we had grown to nearly 14 thousand Members, sowing the seeds for the rapid growth we would see in future decades. I had some issues with Insurance regarding an auto loan. Thought I had it straightened out, but was mistaken. I came in to see Christian, he was professional courteous, and had me squared away in 15 minutes. Then he wanted to know what else he could assist me with great customer service from a credit union thanks, Christian. I
They got rid of their bank tellers.....no thank you
I have been a member of Vantage West Credit Union, before it was Vantage West Credit Union approximately 40 years. Went into the newly remodeled branch at Tanque Verde and Sabino Canyon and found that there are no live humans working there. It is all virtual tellers over a video screen. Super disappointed in Vantage West, supposedly a hometown company. Obviously they care more about disenfranchising customers from Personal tellers, than anything else. Customer Service last! , should be their new motto.
Not happy after they remodeled. No tellers all machines. They have people there to assist but you have to get on a list and wait. The management has obviously decided that the relationship between customers and their people is not important. Highly dislike the new business model! I used to love the branch…no longer. It’s too much hassle to leave or I would change to another bank or credit union.unfortunately they are remodeling the Speedway branch to do the same. We may change.
Went in go to get money here (they do accept other credit unions) but the gut said not at that branch (aren't all branches the same.) So he sent me to Hughes to do my banking says OH Yes they will help you there. Well guess what Hughes isn't there they only have ATMS. He says right there on Pantano and Broadway. Nope nothing there. If they DON'T WANT TO HELP YOU OUT THEN JUST SAY SO. RUDE ALSO ROLLED HIS EYES WHEN I QUESTIONED HIM
