Bottom line up front, I do not recommend doing business with Mr. Pittman at Vans-to-Go, located on SW Lee Blvd, just east of Sheridan. The following is the circumstances behind this review. I was scammed by the owner. I rented a van from him a year ago for a family vacation. I then bought it for $26,000 cash when we returned. He showed me a KBB paper that showed it was worth $27,000. I now know that was a lie!!! He also said that he would buy it back if I changed my mind about it... that, of course, was a lie also. He also told me he was retired military... probably a lie also. I thought he was nice until I realized that I had been scammed. I had a reservation with Avis for two months for a 12 passenger van for a trip to Miami, the day of that I go pick up the van from Avis they had loaned out to someone else. I look up places that were close to me and run into the vans to go place online. The prices don’t match the Online prices online he had it set at $1085. Requires full coverage of your own insurance. Kinda defeats the purpose of renting another vehicle
The owner is a good guy. The van was clean and drove great. Priced cheaper than enterprise. If I ever need a rental again I'll go here.
