Vanderbilt is the worst company i have ever had to deal with i fell behind 3 months i sent a payment they sent it back so i sent it back they sent it back again so i call them they say im in there legal dept and i have to pay 5 months plus 730 in legal fees ok im behind 5 months cause you are sending my money back so i look into predatory lending they just got sued jan 6th by cfpb they are horrible people i have muscular dystrophy and my mother died from covid so since 2021 i have had a tuff time financially do you think the... read more

I fell into a hardship and got behind on my payments. I was afraid to call for help because I thought they may just jump to foreclosure. I finally called and spoke with Tim and explained my situation. He was so helpful in finding the best solution for me. The specialist that also helped to determine the best course of action for me was very helpful too. Her name is Shyla. I have never had any issues with VMF in the 4 years I have been doing business with them. I am so grateful for their help in getting me back on track.

My interest rate was *****on a used trailer vanderbilt mortgage is not good they denied me of a loan modification denied me of a payment plan 97,000 $ for a 2017 old trailer.

Please beware of dealing with this company. I’m 100% disabled veteran and they sold me a mold infested home. Not only was the bathroom riddled with mold, but they also sold me a home with the terrible roof that they patched up. I had to pay money out of pocket to fix the roof due to insurance reasons and guess what we find? Rotten wood black mold all over the roof. Stay away from this company and never ever buy a home from them or you will absolutely regret it. They also have Jack legs on Payroll that come by and do patch up... read more

Vanderbilt is sorry to hear about the customer's frustration with the home that they purchased on 2/14/24. There was a sixty-day habitability warranty that was provided at the time of purchase to allow time for the customer to get their own inspection. There was a contractor sent out on 3/7/24 to inspect a water leak and a repair was made. Any other repairs or modifications that could have caused further damage were not done by Vanderbilt. We was pre approved for a loan ,how much our payment were the whole nine yards .we put the deposit down on our trailer and was told how much of a down payment Vanderbilt needed .everything was good then they call the next day and said they couldn't approve us .wow is all I can say

Unfortunately, the conditional approval was based on the customer's stated income, and when the income verification period occurred, the verified income showedthat the loan would not make sense with the customer's income. Worst every customer care is a joke been talking to someone for 2 weeks our home was paid off they accrued the loan because ford housing closed and Vanderbilt Mortgage has been giving us a run around about a lien release that they failed to do 20 years ago now we are selling and can’t get the help we need they have all the information but want call us back or let us know what’s going on

We have been dealing with Vanderbilt Mortgage and/or Cascade Finance for almost 2 years, up until yesterday our experience was just like everyone else's. Hateful, rude customer service who was unwilling to do anything but argue. Every representative we've ever talked to said they consulted their supervisors but we were only hold for a few minutes. We purchased our home in 2007 and according to the amortization schedule principle balance should be paid off in May 2024 but they are saying that that schedule was wrong and we owe another 1.5 years because of the escrow for our insurance, I have asked if I can get my own insurance and they said that they would still keep their insurance even if I got my own. The principle balance is the same on all of the paperwork. They are a horrible company to deal with and do not honor the original agreement.

The worst of the worst predatory lenders. Avoid at all cost. They have obviously bought and paid for their bbb rating.
