No stars. DANGEROUS DRIVERS. I'm writing this review to report reckless driving on behalf of one of the VBL operators this morning. I was driving in Webster Groves at 8:35am on Tuesday, May 6th when a VBL bus decided that backing up in reverse at a stop sign was a good idea. I was the first car directly behind the bus and luckily I acted quickly, put my car in reverse and stepped on my gas pedal nearly hitting the van behind me to avoid being smashed by the VBL bus. I am the motor coach coordinator for Tropicana Evansville. I deal with many bus companies on a daily basis. I have many of my charter groups book with their trips from St. Louis and the surrounding areas with Vandalia Bus Lines. I typically don't leave bad reviews for companies, but I believe most companies usually right any wrongs when dealing with customers. Vandalia Bus Lines is NOT one of these businesses. We hired two buses from Vandalia for our wedding to shuttle guests back and forth from hotels to our venue. One bus showed up on time in the right location; the other showed up in the wrong town (O'Fallon, IL instead of O'Fallon, MO). Trip was terrific. We couldn't have had a better driver than Patrick Brennen - always on time or early; always courteous, cooperative, adaptable, helpful, and knowledgeable; careful and one of the best drivers we've had.
