Love the older tug boat the Abitibi, it brings back great memories. Going out for a Sunday brunch and enjoying the Vancouver Harbour for under $60 is unheard of. Thank you for this great experience.
Very expensive drinks and waiter was putting 25% tip by himself without asking.
attended an event on Sunday Sep 7th and the bartender kept tipping himself 18% every time I purchased drinks. asked for a receipt and he refused to provide. Such a sleazy move. Stay away from this business. It’s totally understandable to pad drink prices but not letting the customer choose to tip and force them to pay 18% is out of this world.
Maritime Mimosa Brunch Buffer Cruise I bought a Maritime - Mimosa Buffet Brunch Cruise via Eventbrite. The event was by Vancouver Cruises and they use the Abitibi Vessel. The cost was about 54CAD which I find really cheap, I wonder why? The duration was 12:00PM - 4:00PM. The boarding was from 12:00-1:00PM and sailing 1:00-3:00PM. There was no proper signage for the event so a lot of people who came in first where all asking each other where is the place. They should have at least put a signage outside so people know. Advertised as "gourmet buffet plus mimosas brunch" with a picture of a pretty boat, this turned out to be a poorly organized long-line-up basic meal scooped into your plate for you, and an overpriced bar, on a somewhat refurbished WWII-era boat. Thankfully it was a lovely day and Vancouver is beautiful, so we still had a good time with our friends.
