RecommendedMy mother lives here and loves everything about Vancouver Pointe! From the delicious choices on the menu, to all the activities and very caring staff, she could not be happier. On a scale of 1 - 10, she would rate it 10+, and I am thrilled she lives nearby. Every unit has a full kitchen. Today she baked muffins to share with friends. Please check it out if you are considering independent retirement living in a wonderful community.
I have been living here for three years and could not be happier. The atmosphere is very uplifting and FUN. We become as family and everyone cares about their fellow residents. I have one of the cottages but many days, like today when it is snowing, envy those in the main building who can live totally indoors out of the elements. No housework, No maintenance, No extra bills to pay, No cooking. What more could we ask for? Oh and yes, Bob Hitchcock is an excellent manager. We stopped in yesterday (7/9) to see a cottage, but were told there was no one there to help us. From that, we must assume this place is making more money than they can handle and does not need (or want) more residents. Major major disappointment. We will not go back. BTW: we had traveled 2 hours from Olympia WA to see the place.
