The treatment improved significantly.
I don't know what has happened to Vancity but it's not the credit union I started with years ago. Customer service is almost non-existent and the one time I booked an appointment to go over my RRSPs, the representative was over an hour late for the appointment. She didn't bother notifying me she would be late. I applied at the Broadway branch for a physical card to withdraw cash from my savings account and the teller said it would take about 6 weeks to arrive in the mail (seriously?) and it's been 9 weeks and I've not receiv... read more
Van City cancelled our Mortgage after being with them for a decade. Branch manager, nor the regional manager could explain why. This is not the way I expect to be treated as a customer. I have enough funds available to pay out the mortgage completely yet they refused to renew the mortgage or sit with me to explain what the issues were.
