Hope you like waiting in line. Everytime I come to this branch there's 6+ in line and one teller. Understaffed. Brutal.
The service was horrible in maps. It was showing me it’s open when I went there it was closed.
I am thoroughly disgusted with how van city operates the bank accounts. I can open up a bank account right now. At any of the major banks, and they don't need a credit check to open it,( they still do a credit check. But it doesn't stop you from opening a checkings account) Yet this bank because I have a bad credit rating.Won't allow me to open up the checkings account! Last time I checked I wasn't asking for a credit card. Worst bank i ever had to deal with.
Disappointed. Lined up for over 30 minutes (2 tellers working) and finally get to the front only to find out US drafts are locked up and the person with the key is out for lunch for another 30 minutes.
I moved to Abbotsford recently after frequently three other Vancity branches in my former city. I have had absolutely wonderful service at the Abbotsford location with staff showing me the utmost compassion when my money was "swallowed" by a different credit union's machine and more recently when I showed up with all my change rolled into the wrong type of coin rollers. The teller, who was off work after serving me, clocked out and then proceeded to help me roll my coins so that I wouldn't have to take them all home again. I... read more
