Used to be a huge fan of Vancity but they haven't kept up with modern banking. Credit cards and debit cards are notoriously bad but their mobile app and online experience are among the worst I've used. Mobile app specifically is extremely glitchy when it comes to making mobile check deposits and I've had it glitched out on me and double send etransfers.
I’ve banked here all my life, but honestly, it’s pretty consistently a drag. Lines are frequently very long and the debit cards that they issue are famously useless. Staff are always friendly and personable
Called vancity visa, hold for 15+min, refused to help me dispute a transaction even though the merchant is in the USA specifically texas. I live in BC. Horrible service.
