I highly recommend anyone thinking about opening an account with Vancity doesn’t. 1 star for the new app and customer service. I spent 30min on hold waiting for someone to answer the phone, which, to be fair is better than the hour plus I HAVE spent waiting on customer service. Not to mention the screaming children in the background of my call agents phone and putting me on hold multiple times probably to deal with said children. I have had THE WORST experience banking with these guys opened my account about 8 years ago and been with them since unfortunately as of lately the experience has been very bad i got my money LITERALLY stolen TWICE and on top of all that their staff is absolutely terrible dealt with a lady there named Marie El-Abed and she was very rude very disrespectful to the point where i literally had to WALK AWAY “assistant branch manager” okay MaRiE you just caused the bank who u work for a client and you gained a reputation that is w... read more
