Virginia Machinery & Well Company was founded by Charles F. Cole in 1915. Established as a commercial and industrial water-well drilling and water supply contractor, the company moved into the wholesale business becoming a plumbing, heating and well distributor in the early 1930’s. In 1970, Virginia Machinery & Well Company abbreviated its name to VAMAC, Inc. As business increased, VAMAC, Inc. expanded as a company, setting up branches all across Virginia, serving customers through the Mid-Atlantic region. During the years of the company’s expansion, VAMAC joined WIT & Co. Plumbing Wholesale Buying Group in 1988. As a family business, we are dedicated to making it easy and reward
