Valley Star Credit is a horrible bank to do business with. If I could give them a zero would. Â
They are slow. 45 minutes to deposit a check.Â
Upgrading my previous 1-star rating to 2-stars but not any higher. My phone call was returned and the lady politely guided me through what I needed to do to make the on-line card payment. She acknowledged that it was not obvious. So the problem is with the navigation menu not the customer service. However, it should be obvious what to do from the navigation menu without the need to phone in, wait, and then get assistance. For this reason I can't upgrade my rating to any higher than 2 starsÂ
The only way to get action from this miserable CU is to give them a 1-star rating, so here I am doing so. Their chat function doesn't work. The wait time for phoning is too long and they seldom if ever return voice messages, so here is my message to them for all the world to see. All I want to do is make a payment toward my credit card debt. The "enhandced" navigation menu changes so much that now that there doesn't seem to be a "card payment" option at least not any which I can see.Â
Do not consider this credit union. I have never called for help and not had at least a 20 minute hold time. My longest was over an hour before I gave up. They do not have the capacity for their number of clients. Months of promises for adding new personnel but those are broken promises. I have found their help polite but they need to quadruple their staff.Â
Since the merger from Entrust to ValleyStar, I have had issues with logging in, processing my loan payment and reaching someone to assist me. This evening around 6:20 PM, Eastern, I attempted to login into ValleyStar, with correct credentials. They system wanted to verify my identity via either text or phone call, I selected text. I never received a text, I attempted this 2x. Contact information is correct in ValleyStar's system.
