Staff on my moms floor were great!! They were actually able to put weight on my mom, for the first time I have ever seen, due to the healthy food. As for the director 'Janet', she'd be better used as a prison guard. They 'don't' work with the family as stated. The 3 yrs my mom was there, I was ALWAYS refused a meeting with the social worker or anyone to help my mother with her Alzheimer's. I was refused to join her in activities, such as 'minds in motion'. I reached out to Fraser Health but didn't receive any help from them ... read more
My mom has enjoyed staying at the Valleyhaven Home for the past year. The nurses are always keeping her busy with crafts and various games. The interior has a nice home-like feeling and there is a true sense of community.
