I had a terrible experience with this storage facility. I had my confirmation email and paid for a rental unit, but when I arrived, the woman working there was no help at all and claimed I did not have the space for rent. I am currently fighting for a refund, and found help elsewhere.
Recent ownership change from Valley Storage to Self Storage Plus is a disaster. I have been renting at this location for years. The former Site Managers were wonderful, new management not so much. They put my rent payments on autopay without permission. I moved out of 1 of my units, with appropriate notice, they charged me anyway and are doing nothing about refunding my money after I requested it.
So as you know moving can be hectic, especially when you add in moving trucks, helpers, boxes, work, finding a place etc, but Christine was so helpful and amazing!!!! I really like her!!!!! I had just moved from Augusta, ME for work and the place I moved into was completely trashed. It had mold issues, asbestos issues, leaking ceiling, flooded basement and after 6 months of that I had to break my lease!! As soon as I reserved my unit online through the Valley Storage website, the on-site manager Chris was on top of making sure to reach out and finish all the details to my reservation. The paperwork was quick, easy, and done in minutes. Not to mention, even when the customer service agent had computer difficulties, she stayed very informative and kind.
