Horrible scheduling times. Could be waiting for 30 minutes or more for the initial pickup time. Return times: they have a 90 minute minimum window from the pickup time for an appointment that lasts 15 - 30 minutes. Today's appointment had me waiting for 90 minutes for the return ride.
For starters, Paratransit is horrible! They feel that having someone on the van for up to 4 hours is acceptable. Their on time performance is equally as bad. For April alone I think I was late getting picked up for about half of my trips, not good if you are a dialysis patient, which I am. Phoenix Dial A Ride - 100 times better than paratransit! Derren- driver was so friendly and very sympathetic to my special needs. Just had a stroke. Drove safely and so kind and understanding. 10⭐️ service. Deserves a raise!🙏 (he’s in the Gilbert valley metro not Phoenix valley metro) Also Anthony- desk clerk- friendly, smart, thorough. Great job!! 10 ⭐️ service!!
