Excellent customer service. Every time I walk in I am warmly greeted by Roger. He is very professional and also continually been so patient, kind and helpful. Small town feel you don’t get very often anymore.
I went to deposit my bonds and the first the the teller told me was “really you trying to do this to me right before Christmas”. After I said nothing and we stared at each other awkwardly he told me I need to go to the department of treasury because banks don’t cash savings bonds. Which not only is a lie he refused to help me find a branch to do it for me.
If I could give a negative, I would. The teller would not deposit my daughter's check because she was not with me. I explained she is in school and he sarcastically said so is mine. Very rude and very unhelpful. I though I could overlook the difficult hours of operation, but this put me over the edge. I am switching banks ASAP after having an account with Valley for over fifteen years.
